Ascended Master of the Week : Saint Francis (Celebrate him tomorrow, October 4th)

SAINT FRANCIS

 Francis Bernardone was born in Assisi, Italy in 1181. He found himself imprisoned as a young adult soldier in a Perugia jail. It was in that jail that he had a spiritual experience that would change his life forever. Jesus had come to him while imprisoned saying that he needs to put the life he's living now, aside. When released, he began a path of spirituality and devotion.

Francis began a life of an acetic. Pretty much like a monk but, of catholic faith. Born into a rich family, Francis put that behind and began  acting and dressing like a poor man, a beggar, while spreading Jesus's teaching and spreading peace. He volunteered to help the sick and helped out in hospitals. He later formed a spiritual order called  The Franciscans in 1212.

Most remembered for his Dr. Doolittle ways with animals, it was said during a walk, he saw a group of birds. Francis then, walked up to them and began preaching to them, the ways of Jesus and peace. It was said that the birds actually gathered around, and sat up, and listened to him. Looking at him. Afterwards, he spent time with them, petting them. They did not move from him. After that, he began preaching to more and more animals. Teaching them about God and Jesus. They were at ease around him. Not acting like wild animals. They listened. Even a Wolf in the middle of its wild behavior, stopped and became calm, close, and loving.

He was a writer as well. Writing prayers and meditations. His most famous prayer was Prayer of Saint Francis:

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;

where there is hatred, let me sow love;

when there is injury, pardon;

where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope;

where there is darkness, light;

and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so

much seek to be consoled as to console;

to be understood, as to understand,

to be loved as to love;

for it is in giving that we receive,

it is in pardoning that we're pardoned,

and it's in dying [to ourselves] that we're born to eternal life.

Francis passed away October 4th, 1226. Two days later, he was canonized as Saint Francis of Assisi.

Reader's I have an incredible story to tell you which has to deal with Saint Francis. Today October 3rd, I stopped traffic (we were all at a red light so, I guess the red light helped with that lol) as it came to my attention that, there was poor and scared little kitten, couldn't have been more that a few weeks old, in the middle of the road. I got out of my car because I felt compelled to help. I went to the car in front of me and told the driver there was a scared kitten under their car. They told me they would not move until I got the kitten. Two other wonderful people came out to help me as they could see the kitten was giving me a hard time. It wanted to attack. I was able to shoo it in the direction of the two people and they finally were able to grab it. I told them I could not take it as I had my toddler in the car with me and I did not know if this cat was safe around my son. So a woman said she would take it to the nearest animal hospital. I was so thankful to them.

Not knowing which ascended master I was going to do today, my mind just went to Saint Francis. I did not know much about him until now! The fact that the anniversary of his death is tomorrow, and myself and a couple other people felt the need to help an animal. There is no doubt in my mind that, Saint Francis was around today. Reminding us to care for God's animals. To care for each other. To help out one another and show peace in a time where the world is struggling to show true peace.

Seek guidance from Saint Francis if you are a healer yourself, or do any kind of animal healing and rescue.

He can also help in finding a meaningful career.

Seek guidance from him when wanting to help out the environment.

Ascended Master of the Week: Damara

Goddess Damara 

 

Goddess Damara (most famous in the United Kingdom) is the goddess of abundance, manifesting, peace within the home, and children. When it comes to children, Damara helps with healing and guiding.

The fact that she is a goddess that can assist in manifesting, why not call upon her to help with manifesting abundance into an area of your life or for your home.?

If you find that there is tension between yourself and someone within the household, you can ask assistance from Damara to help create peace between the two of you, or between other people within the household. You can ask her to create calm surroundings so that a calm and clear conversation can take place and the issue can be resolved in the most positive and calming way.

When it comes to divorce or trying to make a decision about divorcing or separating, Damara is good to call for assistance as well. 

 Try pairing a crystal when working with Damara. Use calm crystals and crystal which help with communicating in a calming manner. Try using blue fluorite, blue lace agate, sodalite, rose quartz, or clear quartz.

Mercury Retrograde: Here's What You Need To Know

****MERCURY RETROGRADE STARTED YESTERDAY. ENDS SEPTEMBER 22nd****

Mercury is about communication, time, and travel, spiritual friends. During this time, watch what you say. Misunderstandings are highly popular during Mercury retrograde. Which can cause arguments and disappointments. So be specific with your words and try to really think before you speak.
Also with Mercury RE-trograde, Is the " re" in retrograde. Now is the time to REview, REevaluate, RE think, and REvise, anythin...g when it comes to planning, projects you may be working on, and anything paper work. Now ISNT the time to make commitments or to sign any contracts. So if you are able to put those important stuff off until the retrograde is over, that would be most beneficial for you. If you must make them now, remember to REview them more than 2 times so you don't miss anything. If you can spiritual friends, try to take this time to REst and RElax. Don't let this post bring up fears!!! Give your fears and doubts to Archangel Michael and God (who are non denominational) and just relax and let them do their job. Allow the universal flow to take its course. All you need to do spiritual friends, is try to to relax and retreat.

How You Can Work With Mercury Retrograde:
The energies of Mercury retrograde are positive as well!! As it can help with procrastination and can help you to move forward to get some goals achieved. Or to help you move forward in your life purpose or path. Need to go stuff around the house? Do it!! Need to organize for school or work? Do it!! Mercury retrograde is not to be feared. Just work with it in the most uplifting and positive way spiritual hotties!

Ascended Master of The Week: Goddess Cordelia of England, Wales, & Ireland

Goddess Cordelia 

 



 Cordelia is the goddess of flower fairies, and the spring and summer flowers. Born a sea goddess, Cordelia  is the daughter of the sea god; Lir. People celebrate her during Beltane. The ancient celebration marks the beginning  of summer. When the warm weather sets in and ranchers can allow cattle out of their pins and roam the fields. Her playful summer and fairy energy can help you with creating and feeling the joy of your own or other celebrations. She can provide courage when needed, and also to help be your true authentic self. To be free.

She was written into the Shakespeare play 'King Lear' where Shakespeare writes that she is the daughter of King Lear (Not Lir).

You can also call upon her to help you with your gardening and flowers. Having a sacred space out in your sacred garden dedicated to her and her help with the growth and health of your garden and flowers.

Although Cordelia has a fun energy, she also has a calming/nurturing energy as well. She is said to be great at helping those who are stressing. She can help you to manage your stress in a healthy and positive way. So call upon her for this as well.

If you are preparing or going through any life changes, she is said to help with the changes as well.
