Happy Imbolc! Ascended Master of the Week: Brigit

Ascended Master of the Week:
Brigit (Ireland, Wales, and France)
Brigit, also known as, Brid, Saint Brigit, Brighid, Brigantia, Mary of the Gaels, Brigid, and Bride, is know to be equivalent to Archangel Michael but can be mistaken for Mother Mary! When I first contacted her, I did mistake her for Mother Mary! She has a warm and loving energy about her and how she came to me was the same. With a flow vale over her. But I noticed something....she was holding fire. Her vale was gold and green, and her hair curly and light red. Her power of protection was so strong, just like Archangel Michael! She is (in my eyes) the female version of Archangel Michael! So it is safe to say that you can call upon her when you feel you need spiritual protection, need help with cutting any negative cords from you, and with protecting your home. She is known as a warrior goddess! She has a balance of fire power and femininity.
Originally, she was known as a Celtic goddess in ancient Ireland, with a shrine in honor of her in Kildare, where women would tend to a flame which burned continuously. In the 5th century, the Catholic religion adopted Brigit and deemed her "Saint Brigid".
Like Archangel Michael, she to can inspire prophetic information and Divine guidance. She is known as a "Triple Goddess", meaning she has 3 different personas or aspects, each with specific duties and abilities. She can increase fertility, creativity, and promote healing.
Brigit is celebrated every February 1st! During Imbolc, a time to welcome the blossoms and growth of the flowers, plants, herbs, and so forth. It is also a tie for new livestock as well.
Brigit can help you with:
  • Enhancing courage
  • Finding direction and your life purpose
  • Protection
  • Cleansing/Clearing
  • Bringing warmth to those who need comfort, a situation, or environment.
Crystals which represent her:
  • Orange or yellow calcite
  • Green Aventurine
  • Bloodstone
  • Citrine
  • Carnelian
  • Red Jaspers
To call her forth, I found this invocation written by Doreen Virtue:
"Great Brigit, I know that you hear me the moment that I think of you. I ask for your presence and assistance. Please lend me your courage and power so that I may rise to level of m highest capabilities. Please warm my heart and mind with your brightness, and burn away any thoughts, feelings, or behaviors that stand in the way of my Divine potential. Help me to have the courage to be my very best, and to loose all fear of being powerful." - Amen, Aho, and so it is!
*I will be posting a new product in my ETSY shop to help invoke Brigit and to enhance her abilities to help you with intentions, manifesting, or to release anything you wish for her to burn away. Check back to my shop tomorrow for that. You can call upon her at any time! Does not have to be during the time of Imbolc! Stones which represent her are available in my ETSY shop as well!*
