Are You Taking Care Of Your Crystals Right?

So I have been asked how exactly you know if you are taking care your crystals right. Well that is a hard question to answer because it all depends on them and how their energies are interacting with yours. Now obviously you shouldn't throw them to purposely break them and, I assume that you all are not. It is also good to watch out for how much oil you put on them if you like to use oils with them. It also good to know that when using incense that, you check the incense package before put the stick end on or by the crystals because, some of the incense have oily residue. If the package does not then, it is safe to use closer to the crystals.

When it comes to water, some crystals cannot be in water because they are too fragile. For example Selentie should not be in water. It is too delicate. Same with the Kyanite family.  Any kind of stone, mineral, and crystals like that should not go in water. Just use incense or dirt to cleanse them.

So to go deeper into the question, there is no one exact way of taking care of your crystals. If you feel that their energy isn't working with yours, then just cleanse it and store it away until you feel that it is calling to you. Sometimes you may not find a use for a crystal at all and 4 years passes and you are being drawn to it for the first time. That is ok. It just depends on its energy and vibrations. Let it talk to you! Place it in you hand, open up to it, sit and listen and feel what it is telling you. If you feel like it isn't ready for you yet, that is ok! Please make sure that when you store it, you store the way you feel it should be stored. I store some of mine in my plants or just in dirt in a little pot alone and bury them till I am ready to use it. It can be there for as long as you want it to. Or place it in a cloth and store it away in a place you keep your crystals. Wrap it up and put it away.
